Equal Opportunities

The Equal Opportunities of the Friends of Ram Hill Colliery is contained in Paragraph 10 of our Constitution which reads as follows:

1. The Friends shall not discriminate based on nationality, race, ethnic or national origin, gender, disability, age, sexuality, politics, or religious belief. Discriminatory language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
2. The Executive Committee by unanimous vote shall have the power to expel any member who shall offend against the Constitution of the Friends or whose conduct shall, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, render them unfit for membership. No member shall be expelled without first having the opportunity of appearing before the Executive Committee and answering the complaints against them. Said member may be accompanied in this instance by a friend, relative or spokesperson.
